How to Install and Use Pinterest Toolbar Chrome to Pin Photos from Anywhere
The Pinterest toolbar is a quick and easy way to pin photos to your pinboards in seconds from almost any website that features images. Using the Pin It button allows you to pin an image directly from the site it is displayed on without having to go back to your Pinterest account first. Pinterest Toolbar Chrome also helps you easily share the pin on Facebook or Twitter if you have those accounts linked to your Pinterest account. To quickly install the Pinterest toolbar Chrome plug-in follow these easy steps:
Sign into your Pinterest account in the usual way. Next locate the “About” menu section in the right hand corner of the page. Click on that link.
After the new page loads locate “Goodies” on the left hand side. After clicking on that, scroll until you find the “Pin It” button section.
At this point you will see the instructions for adding the button to your Chrome toolbar. Basically however you will need to follow these steps:
- If it is not visible to you to display the Chrome bookmarks bar click the wrench icon (located at the far side of the right hand side of the screen) and then Bookmarks > Show Bookmarks Bar
- Drag the small Pin It button to the Bookmarks Bar
- Now you can use the button to pin almost any image you find on your web travels in just a few seconds.
